What to Expect

Training on how to live out your faith on campus, fun activities to get to know when another, great Bible talks, and more! Get to know God more with a deeper community.

Transport

You can drive yourself to the campsite or we can arrange a lift for you if you indicate it on your registration form.

What to Bring

Clothes for 3 days

FAQ

Why should I attend Winter Conference?

Winter Conference can help you to make new friends, grow in your relationship with God, get plugged into the Power to Change community, and also help you to learn to share your faith with others. It’ll be a fun-filled camp with plenty of things to do.

Who will be there? Can I come if I am not a Christian?

Uni students from around Victoria will be coming. And yes! Winter Conference is for all young adults, regardless of their spiritual background who have a desire to grow in their relationship with God or are wanting to explore and ask questions about Christianity. If you are not Christian, you won’t be asked to participate in any activities you don’t feel comfortable with.

What is the accommodation/site like?

We will be staying Camp Wilkin in Anglesea. All meals will be catered by them, so there will not be cooking facilities in the bedrooms. You will share a room and bathroom with others in the same cabin. There are plenty of outdoor activities as well.

Who will I be rooming with?

You’ll be allocated to a room with a few other people of the same gender (except in the case of families and married couples). During the registration process you can indicate if there are people you would particularly like to room with and we’ll do our best to put you with at least one of those people. However, if you don’t have a particular preference or if you don’t know anyone else, you’ll be placed with people so you can get to know some new friends.

How do I pay?

Once you have registered, you will receive an automated email which includes your registration details and payment link to pay by credit/debit card. If you cannot pay using a debit/credit card or you did not receive the automated email, please contact adriana.wong@powertochange.org.au.
