Youth seeks to connect High School students to Jesus and to each other. This is done through serving school communities and through various creative arts.
Power to Change’s Chaplains demonstrate Jesus’s love and hope as they live out
their faith, and provide spiritual and emotional support to school communities. They
work alongside other school staff in helping students discover better ways to
articulate and deal with the many issues they face on a daily basis.

In 2015, Creative Arts Ministries and Youth Ministries Australia was established as Power to Change, with a focus on youth. But who are we? Where did it all start? “Youth Ministries Australia” (YMA) was founded by Bill and Faye Hodgson in 1979 with the vision of ‘seeing the church equipped to intentionally go and make disciples of young people who will passionately follow Jesus and disciple their own generation to do the same.’ YMA had an active presence in partnering with churches and youth leadership in better equipping them to see this vision fulfilled. |
