Japan is a country of 126 million people, of which only 0.5% are evangelical followers of Jesus. It is the second largest unreached people group in the world. Japan is a place of incredible beauty, rich culture and technological advancement and yet, it also faces major challenges such as loneliness, depression, alarmingly high suicide rates as well as a culture of over-work. The Japanese have a deep need for Jesus and more Christians to share the Gospel. This is especially true amongst young people who are desperately searching for something more – what an incredible mission opportunity!
