Acts 29 - West Asia

University students in West Asia will have very little avenue to hear the gospel in their lifetime. Are you interested in reaching these students?

Acts 29 is an opportunity to travel, explore an ancient land, sample an array of sights and sounds, and engage in spiritual conversations with young adults in this ‘10/40 Window’ nation. Power to Change will partner with a campus team in a historical city in West Asia, helping propel their movement in what can often be difficult soil.

West Asia Missions Global Mission Trip Opportunity for International University Students
The mission will involve plenty of opportunities to learn about West Asian culture, understand its history, faith, and worldview. You will also partner with other Christian students from campuses throughout Australia, forging community and learning plenty of lifelong lessons. The mission is a great way to ‘taste and see’ what it could look like to return to West Asia for a longer term of service.

Prerequisites 

  1. Obedience: to Jesus, and a willingness to follow your mission team leaders’ directions.
  2. Evangelism: experience in initiative evangelism on campus.
  3. Alignment with PTC Ministry Philosophy: including our vision to build spiritual movements
  4. Community: ability to live in close community with others.
  5. Ministry Partner Development (MPD): commit to developing a ministry partner team of prayer and financial support as a way of trusting the Lord and developing a team to support you.

  • Compulsory Global Missions Briefing Retreat (More information coming June 2025). This will be an online event.
  • If you think you may not meet the requirements right now, speak with a missionary or student leader right away and they can help you gain the experience required.
