Application and Interview Process
How It Works
1. To apply to become a missionary with Power to Change, ask the missionary who knows you best to contact HR to request an application pack. If you do not know any Power to Change missionaries, please email the HR team at missionaryapplications@powertochange.org.au to request an application pack.
2. The HR team will send you an Expression of Interest to Apply form to provide us with some preliminary information.
3. After your submission has been reviewed and any required follow up has been completed, you will be sent the missionary application pack.
- The missionary application pack requires applicants to provide details relating to their spiritual background, skills and ministry experience, doctrine and ministry philosophy, and other personal information.
- Please refer to the list on the right for what you will be required to read and provide or apply for as part of your application.
4. Once all your application materials have been received and reviewed by a HR Applicant Evaluator and the National Strategy Director for the ministry you are applying for, you will be informed if you have been approved for an interview.
5. Once an interview has been completed, you will be notified of the outcome of your application and whether you have been accepted as a Provisional Missionary of Power to Change.
On average, this part of the process can take between 6-8 weeks, depending on when you and your references return the forms, the availability of the HR team and leaders involved, and what time of year it is.
Please Note
Twice a year there are usually key application dates to be aware of in order to complete the application and interview process in time to attend the compulsory New Missionary Orientation. Contact HR or the missionary you know best to find out when these dates are.
