Training on how to live out your faith on campus, fun activities to get to know when another, great Bible talks, and more! Get to know God more with a deeper community.

Mandatory – Please bring the following items with you:
– Clothes for 2 days
– Bible and journal (if you have one)
– Bedding (sheets, sleeping bag/blanket, pillow case)
– Toiletries

Optional Items:
– Cards or board games to play during free time
– Snack food that you would like to eat in your room

The full cost for Connect Camp is $180. This covers accommodation, meals, and supplies for our activities. However, if you’re a first-year student or someone who isn’t Christian and wants to learn more about God, we’d like to encourage you to come join us, so you can get $50 off.

You can train to Tecoma Station and we’ll come pick you up as long as we know you’re coming via train, so please let us know on your registration form.

Why should I attend Connect Camp?

Connect Camp can help you to make new friends, grow in your relationship with God, get plugged into the Power to Change community, and also help you to learn to share your faith with others. It’ll be a fun-filled camp with plenty of things to do.

Who will be there? Can I come if I am not a Christian?

Uni students from around Melbourne will be coming. And yes! Connect Camp is for all young adults, regardless of their spiritual background who have a desire to grow in their relationship with God or are wanting to explore and ask questions about Christianity. If you are not Christian, you won’t be asked to participate in any activities you don’t feel comfortable with.

What do I need to bring?

What is the accommodation/site like?

We will be staying in the Hope Centre at Belgrave Heights, a newly built facility. All meals will be catered by them, so there will not be cooking facilities in the bedrooms. Each room will have its own bathroom.

Who will I be rooming with?

You’ll be allocated to a room with a few other people of the same gender (except in the case of families and married couples). During the registration process you can indicate if there are people you would particularly like to room with and we’ll do our best to put you with at least one of those people. However, if you don’t have a particular preference or if you don’t know anyone else at Connect Camp, you’ll be placed with people so you can get to know some new friends.

How do I pay?
Once you have registered you will receive an automated email which includes your registration details and banking information. If you cannot transfer money into the bank account or you did not receive the automated email please contact stacey.kerr@powertochange.org.au.

What about COVID? What happens if I get sick before Connect Camp?

If you have any symptoms in the lead up to Connect Camp, please do a test and let adriana.wong@powertochange.org.au know when you receive a negative result.
