Registration and Payment Deadline

The deadline to register and pay for DWC is 9pm Wednesday 17th June.

(And in order to purchase a conference shirt you need to register by Friday 5th June.)

This is to allow us to complete important planning steps for each person attending, such as allocating training and sending pre-conference packs. Due to the time required to complete these processes, this deadline is not negotiable.

No registrations after this date will be accepted so please make sure you submit your registration and payment by that date and let any friends you're inviting know that they will need to do so as well.

Failure to pay by the deadline will mean your registration will be void. Please note that there are no refunds for any cancellations or withdrawals after the deadline.

Payment Methods.

Meet the Speakers

John North CircleJohn North

John North is a godly guy hailing from the hills of Sydney. When he isn't busy being the National Director of Ambassadors for Christ International, he is at home or adventuring with his wife Lois and their four kids. John's great knowledge of the Bible was gained through his education at Dallas Theological Seminary and his service around the world which he is excited to share with us!

Omar Djoeandy

Dr Omar Djoeandy has worked as a General Practitioner in Sydney and as an associate pastor at a church in Nairobi, Kenya. Over his period of service in Africa the church grew from 800 to 2000 people. After returning to Australia, Omar has served as the chief of SIM since 2004. Omar is passionate about people from anywhere reaching people everywhere with the Gospel of Jesus. In his book, "Redefining Success" he draws on examples from his own life and the Bible to show how we can exchange the bondage of wordly success for the blessings of following Jesus.

What we'll get up to

Quiet Time:
While we want everyone to gather together to learn from the Bible, we also want you to get time alone to read the Bible, talk to God, and process anything you may be learning.

Nightlife:
In the evenings there will be time to play online games and activities, get to know students from around the country and have lots of fun!

Teaching:
We get to hear and learn from our three amazing speakers. They'll be teaching from the Bible about the theme “Send Me”.

Training:
There will be a chance to break out into sessions to learn more about God and his mission for us, and practical skills that can be used on our campus and beyond!

Free Time:
Teaching and training can be fun, but we like to break it up a bit and have fun with new and old friends. There will be opportunities to hang out with others or you can have a break from the screen by spending time at home or going for walk.

Campus Time:
Bond with people from your own campus or area! Campus time is important to us because it encourages us to continue pursuing God and community even when conference is over.

International Community:
DWC is a place for both local Australian and International students to come together to connect with Jesus and each other. There will be arrangements made for our friends whose first language is not English to experience the same teaching everyone is engaging with. There will be lots of opportunities to experience community with other international students!
